SINGAPORE, December 2012 – Glory One Development Limited, developer of the VODOKE suite of high-definition IPTV solutions, has revealed that Cordell Holdings Limited has injected an undisclosed amount of seed funding for VODOKE’s continuing foray into the hospitality, healthcare and ISP sectors.
As part of its strategic growth plans, Hong Kong-based Glory One Development has also set up a fully owned subsidiary in Singapore – Vodoke Pte Ltd.
“On behalf of the founders of Vodoke, I thank Cordell Holdings for its trust in the future of our suite of high-definition IPTV solutions, and for its confidence in the team,” said Michael Toh, CEO of Vodoke Pte Ltd. “Their additional funding will help accelerate our penetration across the Asia Pacific region.”
According to Mr Toh, Vodoke has already secured multi-million dollar contracts comprising customized implementation for hospitals, hotels and ISPs.
At the rate it is growing its market, some industry watchers expect Vodoke to be valued at more than US$100 million within the next two years. Key to the company’s growth are its Android-based back-end solution and patented front-end, as well as a dedicated and talented team of technologists, developers and marketers.
Tong Jun Kian, Cordell Holding’s representative, said: “Led by a passionate and highly talented management team, Vodoke’s impressive technology and business model has significant commercial potential, particularly in the high growth Asia Pacific region. We are delighted with our investment and excited to be part of Vodoke’s next phase of expansion.”
